Duluth’s Chris Monroe is an illustrator and author of several children’s books including Totally Uncool, Monkey With a Tool Belt, and Monkey With a Tool Belt and the Noisy Problem.  She is also a painter and cartoonist, known for drawing “Violet Days” published in the Minneapolis Star Tribune and Duluth News Tribune.  Monroe’s children’s book, Sneaky Sheep, was recently selected one of the 100 books recommended for reading and sharing for children by the New York Public Library.
